Programs highlighting Grinnell and Iowa history are presented to the public and student groups of all ages.
Annual program for all 3rd graders attending elementary school in Grinnell highlighting the history of Iowa in the 1900's. Students get a tour of the museum and play games popular in the 1900's.
Outreach
We provide exhibits in the lobby at Drake Community Library on a quarterly basis.
We have exhibits of Spaulding and Laros buggies, a Spaulding car chassis, and Billy Robinson memorabilia on display at the Grinnell City Offices
We take exhibits to senior centers for the enjoyment of retirees who are unable to visit the museum.
Research
We assist community members and students to conduct historical and genealogical research within Grinnell and Poweshiek County.
